I have watched as the owner has struggled due to how the franchise skims payment off of what the clients pay, forces certain insurance companies and gas guzzling vehicle restrictions. The sum of this review: The company is more of a broken pyramid scheme where if you have the funds for startup, they'll take your money and set you up for failure. I've been with this company for over a year and now work directly under an owner. If you're looking for a place to get yourself bye for a year or so before finding a long term career place this is it. Its a give me your everything and get nothing in return company. This is a SALES company and all the people still in it will SELL you on a job that isn't worth it. He isn't apart of major decisions and doesn't give exit interviews in person either. The owner talks as if he is the smartest man in the room, only believes what he wants and doesn't really care for employees like he says. They let the close circle of people take off early, waste time playing ping long and take long lunches while anyone who isn't in the core circle is harped on about their "productivity" Training is little to none and when goals aren't met you're on the chopping block without any aid or help to improve. only thing consistent here is inconsistencies. They hire people for one job and they end up doing something they weren't hired for then let you go because they aren't succeeding. They make constant changes to their departments, moving people around and making up new job titles or giving people "manager" roles to make you feel more important. Anyone hired from outside the friendship circle isn't taken seriously and not kept in the workplace for long-a year at most. This company only cares about you if you're apart of the "club" which consists of the owner and the owners close network of friends they hire to work for them. I did not have a weekend free for the entire time I worked with Signal, despite multiple shifts opening and people being shuffled around that I could've moved shifts to. I was told when I got promoted to supervisor that I would be doing rotating shifts so that I didn't lose my weekend every week, and that never happened. If you get put on a schedule at Signal, you're probably never changing from it. Individual sites might be better than others, but the site I was hired into I got moved from because of a single disagreement with a coworker, and the site I was at before being terminated changed managers without any of the other supervisors being informed or given an opportunity to ask for the position. However, the upper management is terrible and doesn't care about the regular workers, or anyone other than the site manager. Really the only good things I have to say about the whole time is the pay was easy and good enough that I tolerated everything else. I worked for Signal for about 9 months, and was let go with no warning with a text, as a supervisor, just to put in perspective how terrible the communication here is.
